Study Permit

Under this program students who have the interest to study in Canada in under-grade or post graduation or Masters/PhD program can apply for visa. If you have gained admission to a Canadian educational institution, you may be able to obtain a study permit to study in Canada.

 

Eligibility: A person, who has completed Secondary or Post Secondary degree, enrolled in a university/college in Canada, can apply for Study permit. ILCB deals with study permit only.

Note:

prove that you have enough money to pay for your:

tuition fees

living expenses for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada and

return transportation for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada

Be a law-abiding citizen with no criminal record and not be a risk to the security of Canada. You may have to provide a police certificate.

Be in good health. You may need to complete a medical examination

Convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your studies.

Procedure:

Step 1: Contact ILCB to initiate the study permit;

Step 2: Submit all required documentation;

Step 3: ILCB submits the application to the concerned authority;

Step 4: After the assessment of Visa Officer, they issues positive/negative decision.

 

Fee Structure:

 

 

Govt. (Processing & Biometric) fees:  CDN$ 235 (C$ 150 & C$ 85) for each applicant;

ILCB professional fees: CDN$ 1,000 (1st Inst. C$ 500 at the time engagement & 2nd Inst. C$ 500 at the time of file submission).
