The Yukon Business Nominee Program (YBNP) is an economic immigration stream under the Yukon Nominee Program designed to attract and retain experienced international entrepreneurs who can establish and operate businesses that support Yukon’s labour market needs and contribute to long-term economic growth. Candidates must establish a business, operate it actively, and settle permanently in Yukon with their families.

 

Eligibility Requirements (Minimum)

  • IELTS CLB 4 language.
  • Minimum high school
  • Minimum 3 years business ownership or 5 years senior manager.
  • Minimum net worth of CAD $500,000
  • Minimum CAD $300,000 in liquid assets
  • Applicant must settle and manage business in Yukon for 2 years
  • Must demonstrate ability to make a minimum CAD $300,000
  • Exploratory Visits to Yukon
  • Settlement Plan

 

Application Process:

Step 1: Assessment of ILCB;

Step 2: Application Registration to YBNP;

Step 3: Receive invitation and submit full documents;

Step 4: Interview required (in person) in Yukon;

Step 5: Receive Approval and Letter of Support;

Step 6: Apply for a work permit to IRCC;

Step 7: Establish the Business and family in Yukon during two-year period;

Step 8: Receive Nomination for Permanent Residence by Yukon;

Step 9: Submit applications for Permanent Residence to IRCC.
